Batteryhold’s Mission
Our mission is to reduce the risks associated with the storage and transport of batteries, ensuring the safety and security of your valuable assets. We have the expertise and technology to meet your needs. Our engineers are developing solutions for e- bikes and scooters , power tools and much much more.
We Hot Tested It!
We designed our Batteryhold products to be an integrated, simple, safe, and secure collection, storage and transport system.
When we say ‘safe,’ it covers many aspects.
For us it means reducing the risk to life and property if collected Lithium-ion batteries ignite.
Our battery collection containers, storage safes, and transport stillages, manufactured with ceramic lined double steel walls, have been engineered and rigorously tested to ensure they can withstand and protect in the event of a Lithium-ion battery thermal runaway event.
Our testing program showed us that we didn’t get it right the first time. In fact we didn’t get it right the second time, or the third!
Each test revealed something new, pushing us to go back and further rethink and improve different elements of the design to counter each new learning.
But we kept going – and with more testing – we got it right.
We’re incredibly proud that our products are now engineered to contain flames, manage explosive events, and withstand critical heat.
This means that whether you’re hosting a drop-off collection point, or collecting and transporting the collected mixed batteries, we’ve mitigated much of the risk of harm and damage if a thermal runaway event was to happen, allowing the crucial warning and time to preserve life, assets and property
Getting Smarter!
Our Batteryhold system is designed using best practices for the collection, storage, and transport of Lithium-ion batteries, addressing the growing challenges of increased recycling volumes.
We are currently developing smart technology to capture out-in-the-field data for effective monitoring, measurement and warning alerts in real time.
The system not only provides alerts in the event of a thermal runaway but also enables real-time monitoring of collection sites for governance, measurement, and oversight, ensuring greater system integrity.
