Designed to reduce lithium battery fire risk
Purpose-designed containment systems to support safer lithium battery handling and risk management in public, commercial, and industrial environments.

Made-In-Melbourne. Since 1969
We’ve been making things that last — right here in Melbourne — since 1969.
From our beginnings as a small metalworking business, we’ve grown into a family-owned group manufacturing steel and timber solutions under one roof — supporting schools, workplaces, and public facilities across Australia and New Zealand.
Across every brand, our focus remains the same: practical design, reliable manufacturing, and products built to last — backed by a family-owned business that values long-term relationships
Why this matters
Lithium-ion battery thermal runaway events are difficult to extinguish, can reignite, and may burn for extended periods. As battery collection volumes increase, systems for storage, transport, and recycling must be designed to contain these risks.
Steel-walled containment that resists flame and heat helps reduce exposure to people and property, while supporting safe and reliable battery recycling programs.

Council Battery & E-Waste Drop-Off Cabinets
Batteryhold steel collection cabinets are engineered for secure, durable deployment in unsupervised public drop-off locations, including local government facilities, resource recovery centres, libraries & community hubs and charity op-shops.
These steel collection cabinets provide long-term infrastructure for hazardous e-waste streams where risk mitigation, clear user direction and tamper resistance are critical.
These collection cabinets shown here were designed to align with Sustainability Victoria’s CEIF – Hazardous Waste Round 4 funding program. Made in Melbourne.
